YUVA - THE MAGAZINE FOR YOUNG INDIA
Young people below the age of 25 constitute half of this country’s 1.2 billion population. It is a generation that is slowly coming into its own and will, in the coming years, be the most influential segment of India’s population in virtually every sphere of life. It is to address the concerns of this young generation that Nitesh Narayan Rane decided to launch Yuva in May 2009 as a magazine dedicated solely to the youth.
The magazine covers everything that affects the lives of the young. And thus, it touches upon a wide variety of subjects ranging from entertainment to education, and everything in between, through well researched and written articles by some of the best known names in their respective fields. It profiles real life stories of successful young men and women, provides informative articles which the youth can use – from career advancement to buying clothes, and addresses the issues and questions that are on top of the mind of today’s youth.
The magazine has done phenomenally well since its launch and continues to enjoy an ever growing subscriber base across the country. In the time it has been in the market, it has produced some unique covers that have been creative, curious and confident. Its writing is simple yet effective, while its presentation is trendy.
The number of its advertisers has also grown from 10 to more than 50 leading firms like Videocon, HCL, Popley Jewellers, UTV, ESPN, Adani, Hungama, IRB, Bright Outdoors, OOH Media, Lux, and many, many others.
